Ever want to know the secret to getting your kids to brush their teeth twice a day because they want to? Then you have got to check out this new children’s oral health campaign.
Created by the Ad Council and sponsored by the Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives, they bring us entertaining music, television skits and videos games to engage our kids into brushing their teeth twice per day for two minutes. The website 2mins2x.org focuses on many different video choices such as Tom and Jerry, Elmo, The Dream Jam Band and more, all in an effort to instill healthy brushing habits at a young age now.
The videos are entertaining and fun for all. Even parents can enjoy a short episode of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Bugs made all of his fortunes from inventing the carrot peeler and Daffy is determine to become the next richest inventor with his crazy ideas.
Check out the classic Looney Tunes video below and get brushing or check out their video collection.
You’ll also find fun facts and other humorous ad campaign posters and clips. Dogs in tutus and little brothers covered in icing, are ad favourites, suggesting kids have time for tricks and should for their teeth too.
Spike, an adorable bulldog is dressed in a tutu, wrapped in a feather boa and gracefully topped with a princess crown stars in the ad, which says,
“Kids will spend 11 minutes dressing Spike up like a princess. How about two minutes to brush their teeth?” It continues with,
“Brushing for two minutes now can save your child from severe tooth pain later. Two minutes, twice a day. They have the time. For fun, 2-minute videos to watch while brushing”.
